Who we are and what we stand for

The Master Builders Fidelity Fund is a dedicated, not-for-profit private sector trust, bringing peace of mind to homeowners through its home warranty coverage. While not a government entity, the Fund is guided by a board of trustees and is regulated by the ACT Government to ensure high standards of accountability.

How we help

Homeowner reassurance for every build

Every build comes with unknowns, but being unprotected shouldn’t be one of them. The Master Builders Fidelity Fund exists so homeowners can move forward with confidence, knowing there is a safety net if their builder cannot finish the job. Through strong governance, clear eligibility rules, and reliable financial backing, the Fund provides stability when it’s needed most. It’s reassurance you can count on, from the first contract to long after the final handover.

Giving builders the guarantees they need

Home warranty cover is a crucial safeguard that every residential builder in the ACT must have in place when building homes for clients. It provides a vital layer of security and ensures peace of mind for both builders and homeowners. To comply with regulations, all residential builders in the ACT must have home warranty cover from an eligible provider.

It’s not just a one-time check: builders undergo rigorous annual assessment to remain with the fund. This commitment to quality ensures only the most reliable builders are part of the program.

Prof Homes

Builder

My partner and I would like to express our sincere thanks to you, to the team at Master Builders Association of the Australian Capital Territory, and to the trustees of the Fidelity Fund in connection with the Fidelity Fund claim we made in 2024 in respect of our home.

Having purchased our home newly built in late 2021, the water ingress issue was not something that we had expected. The professionalism in helping us to navigate the claims process was most reassuring. My partner and I would like to thank you for your support.
